Marion high school quarterback selected for comeback athlete award
(Indianapolis, IN) - November 28, 2011 - Methodist Sports Medicine / The Orthopedic Specialists is pleased to announce the October Comeback Athlete Award Winner is Kevin DaShawn Davis of Marion, Ind. He feared that he would miss his senior season of football at Marion High School due to a hip injury which required surgery and a six-month rehabilitation.

Peter Maiers II, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with Methodist Sports Medicine / The Orthopedic Specialists, was inducted as a Fellow into the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) on February 15, 2011, during ceremonies at the Academies' 2011 meeting in San Diego. Dr. Maiers was one of 667 new members inducted.
