Dr. Kevin Condict is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in total joint replacement for athletes and non-athletes from every walk of life. He takes a proactive, patient-centered approach in which each person’s medical challenges are treated according to individual needs.
“Seeing a patient become pain-free is one of the most rewarding experiences I have in life,” he said.
Dr. Condict joined Methodist Sports Medicine as a physician partner in 2014 after previously being with Indiana University Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine for seven years. He performs joint replacements of the shoulder, hip and knee, including revisions of previous procedures. One of his primary tools is computer navigation, a technology that allows for the most precise implant placement.
He also has extensive experience with reverse total shoulder replacement, a procedure used to address the combination of joint degeneration and rotator cuff dysfunction. He continues to expand his knowledge and expertise, including adding the Director Anterior Approach to total hip replacement to his surgical repertoire. He also performs arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee, and is certified in Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
Dr. Condict graduated from DePauw University in 1998, where he was a four-year varsity football player. While there, he received his B.A. in economics and was a member of the prestigious Management Fellows Program. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2002, where he was a class officer and earned Alpha Omega Alpha honor society distinction. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fla., where he worked with the Gators football team and was selected to the American Orthopedic Association Emerging Leaders Program.
He holds the position of medical director for both orthopedics and physical medicine at Indiana University Health Tipton Hospital, where he also serves as the Vice Chief of Staff. He is also the team physician for Tipton High School athletics.
He performs inpatient surgeries at both IU Health Tipton and IU Health North hospitals. Outpatient surgeries are done at the Beltway Surgery Center.
Dr. Condict is originally from Evansville, Ind., and now lives in Tipton with his wife and three children.
