We are proud and pleased that four members of the Methodist Sports Medicine team of physicians will be speaking at the upcoming Indiana State Chiropractic Association Spring Conference March 4-6 in Indianapolis. Doctors G. Peter Maiers II, Steve Ritter, Thurman Alvey III and Tony Origer will all be making presentations at this prestigious event.
Dr.Origer, a chiropractic physician and certified athletic trainer, will co-present with the other physicians reviewing patient findings, imaging, treatment procedures and patient outcomes. Dr.Ritter will focus on spine surgical cases that have failed conservative management.
Dr.Maiers will talk about hip surgical cases that mimic spine and sacroiliac joint conditions, while Dr.Alvey will speak on conservative treatment options for SI joint dysfunction and management of lumbar stress fractures in adolescents.
Chiropractic treatment has become a widely accepted part of orthopedic medicine, and our strong presence at this conference underscores MSM’s commitment to expert care of sports injury and any kind of orthopedic pain or impairment.
The event takes place at the Wyndham Indianapolis West; click here for more information and to register. If you do attend, please make sure to swing by the Methodist Sports booth to talk to our docs, ask questions or obtain a referral.
