“My father was a family physician, and I took a great interest in what he did. I loved making rounds with him and watching him care for his patients. He had a great scientific ability, but most importantly, he had a passion and empathy for his patients that really amazed me. I try very hard to bring that same passion and empathy to my own practice every day, thanking God for the opportunity to serve and the ability and drive I have to love people through my work.” – Charles D. Van Meter, MD
