“To most patients a discussion of bipolar radio-frequency treatment of tendonitis would sound either complicated, like the perfect prescription for a nap, or both, which I understand completely. The main thing that I want them to understand is that my biggest concern is creating a positive outcome using the latest advances in orthopedic medicine, combined with a personal touch.” – Mark Ritter, MD
Team Physician, Decatur Central High School, 2009-present
As an all-star swimmer in college, Dr. Ritter understands the physical demands that come with being a serious athlete, or just being serious about athletics as a hobby or pastime.
He has served as Assistant Team Physician to the Brown University Varsity Football and Hockey Teams as well as the American Hockey League professional hockey team, the Providence Bruins and the San Diego Padres professional baseball team.
