“We all have significant events occur in our lives that shape who we are and in my case, what I chose as my life’s work. I was actually a patient at Methodist Sports Medicine / The Orthopedic Specialists (MSM/TOS) in 1983. I returned a few years later with a significant knee injury. The care I received from Dr. Rettig and Dr. McCarroll, combined with my interest in sports, had a huge impact on my becoming a physician. I certainly believe that my experience as a patient has shaped my approach to delivering the most compassionate patient care possible.” – Patrick A. Kersey, MD
Married and the father of three children, two of whom are twins, it’s a good thing Dr. Kersey enjoys physical activity. An academic all-state basketball player, Dr. Kersey is a native of Indiana and a huge Colts fan. Dr. Kersey is also a fan of Indianapolis, the mid-west lifestyle and the sense of community in the area. If you don’t find him in the office on Saturday morning working, your next best chance of finding him is on a soccer field coaching, or on the golf course putting.
