Dr. Maiers specializes in sports medicine with a focus on total knee care and athletic hip injuries.
With a goal of providing compassionate, up-to-date care to serious athletes, weekend athletes and people from all walks of life, Dr. Maiers has taken his love of sports and medicine and turned it into a career that he is extremely passionate about.
Fellowship trained at the Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center, Dr. Maiers specializes in sports medicine with a special emphasis on total knee care, including pediatric and adult athletic injuries, ligament reconstruction and hip arthroscopy. A graduate of Indiana University and the Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Maiers is a member of the American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine and has conducted research on articular cartilage lesions and the treatment of lesser tuberosity fractures.
Dr. Maiers is married with one son, a busy toddler who keeps him on his toes. He enjoys downhill skiing, golf and triathalons.
