“As the son of Hungarian immigrant parents, I understand the value of persistence and hard work. Despite the odds against him, my father found a way to attend Harvard and subsequently became a professor and cancer researcher. I try to bring that same spirit of determination to the work I do with my patients to achieve a positive outcome.” – Peter I. Sallay, MD
Dr. Sallay has given many talks on an international, national, and local level to orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists and lay people. He has been invited by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons on several occasions to serve as a faculty instructor to teach advanced arthroscopic skills to other orthopedic surgeons from the U.S. and abroad. He also serves as a peer reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine.
