As the most movable joints in your body, your shoulders often do a great deal of work on the court, on the field, and even when you’re just reaching for something on the top shelf. Though it’s anchored by muscles, tendons and ligaments, the shoulder has a tendency to be unstable, subjecting it and you to many common problems. Common shoulder injuries include cuff tendonitis, tears and adult shoulder arthritis. But whether these specific shoulder injuries or others are causing you nagging discomfort or debilitating pain, our fellowship-trained shoulder experts can help. As with many other musculoskeletal injuries, we recommend treatment that may include:

  • Therapy
  • Exercise
  • Physical medicine and rehabilitation (also known as physiatry)
  • Surgery, if necessary

What could we do to help take your mind off your aching shoulder and make you happier and more productive? Maybe now’s the time to find out.
