Dr. Matthew Negaard achieves Emergency Medicine & CAQSM certification
Matthew Negaard, MD achieves board certification in Emergency Medicine and Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine (CAQSM)
NOBLESVILLE, Indiana – Matthew Negaard, MD has successfully fulfilled the certification requirements of the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) and is declared a diplomat of this medical specialty board. Additionally, Dr. Negaard has been awarded a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine (CAQSM), joining a limited group of approximately 200 physicians in the United States who have been awarded the CAQSM and who are also Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Negaard completed medical school, a three-year residency training program in Emergency Medicine, and his Sports Medicine Fellowship all at the University of Iowa. During his fellowship, Dr. Negaard served as a team physician for the Hawkeyes. Some of his main areas of focus include acute musculoskeletal injuries, sport performance, tendinopathies, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound guided procedures, and orthobiologics.
