Dr. Miller specializes in Sports Medicine with a focus in managing disorders of the foot and ankle. Born in Northern Indiana, he was a four-sport All-State performer throughout high school which led him to pursue his basketball career at the University of Florida. Dr. Miller was a three year starter for the Gators where he was named a member of the 1st Team All Southeastern Conference his junior and senior years. He is a member of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, Florida Sports Hall of Fame, and is one of the Legends Basketball members of the Southeastern Conference.
Dr. Miller is a diplomat of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and has actively been involved in teaching surgical residents. He was director of the Westview Hospital Residency Program in Indianapolis, Indiana for nine years after which he established the Surgical Program for Podiatry Residents at St. Vincent Hospital (Indianapolis). Dr. Miller thoroughly enjoys the daily experience of treating patients as it brings together his passion for sports, athletic background, and love for the practice of medicine.
Dr. Miller and his wife, Betsy, live in Carmel and have five children and ten grandchildren. He is one of the founding members of the Indiana Bulls Amateur Baseball Club and where he has been a coach and now is an active board member.
