Fellowship-trained Physicians

Fellowship-trained physicians develop advanced expertise and knowledge of cutting-edge treatments and technologies, preparing them for leadership in the field as well as the ability to deliver an exceptional standard of orthopedic care for their patients.

At Methodist Sports Medicine, most of the physicians in our practice not only complete four years of medical school and five years of orthopedic residency but also receive an additional year of in-depth specialty training under the guidance of a leading orthopedic specialist.

Recognized as one of the nation’s preeminent sports medicine fellowship programs, Methodist Sports Medicine offers orthopedic fellowships to a select number of highly qualified applicants each year. Since 1988, our graduates have gone on to careers with leading practices around the country.
