Methodist Sports Medicine (MSM) is seeking a full-time Lead Front Office Associate to join our busy Rehabilitative Services Department primarily located at our North office in the Indianapolis/Carmel, IN area. May also require travel to our South office located in Greenwood, IN. Hours are Monday-Friday (staff work schedules staggered between the hours of 7a-6p), and includes approximately one Saturday morning rotation per month for clinic hours. This position is responsible for administrative duties for North and South offices including overseeing all day-to-day front office functions (e.g., monthly reports, staff scheduling, timekeeping, writing and maintaining policies and procedures, etc.) Must be knowledgeable regarding a variety of front office duties including greeting patients and visitors, registering patients, insurance verification, collecting copays, making patient appointments, check in/check out duties, obtaining new patient referral information, faxing documents, handling busy phone calls, and assisting others with a variety of requests as needed.
Requires high school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in health related field preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting required. Electronic health record experience required. Must be highly organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task, demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, and work well independently as well as within a team environment. Excellent verbal, written and computer skills.
