July 22, 2014 – Indianapolis – When the Indianapolis Colts report to Anderson University for training camp on July 23rd, it will mark the beginning of the 31st consecutive NFL season of Methodist Sports Medicine physician involvement on the field and in the athletic training rooms with players and coaches. The 2014 Training Camp will be located at the Kardatzke Wellness Center/Macholtz Stadium complex located in the Northeast section on the university campus in Anderson, Indiana.
Along with players, coaches, and athletic training staff reporting on July 23rd, a team of Methodist Sports Medicine physicians will join them to provide orthopedic sports medicine and primary care for Colts players and club personnel.
The Official Team Physicians of the Colts are led by orthopedic surgeon Arthur C. Rettig, M.D. who has been part of the club’s medical team since the team’s Indianapolis arrival in 1984. Dr. Rettig’s colleagues include:
