July 15, 2014 – Indianapolis – Methodist Sports Medicine Concussion Management Specialist, Terry Horner, M.D. will participate in a panel discussion devoted to concussion injuries and high school football on Bloomington, Indiana radio station WFIU’s Noon Edition. The program which will air live on Friday July 18, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. is co-hosted Bob Zaltsberg, editor of the Bloomington Herald-Times newspaper and Mary Catherine Carmichael. In light of recent legislation surrounding concussion injuries and advances in technology, panelists familiar with concussion injuries will take questions from the hosts in studio along with listeners who are invited to call into the program or share their comments and questions online through live chat and Twitter.

Dr. Horner received his graduate degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and has been a neurosurgical consultant to the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana University football for many years. Retired from surgical practice, Dr. Horner is currently dedicating his current medical practice exclusively to concussion injury management.

WFIU broadcasts over 103.7 fm in Bloomington, 95.1 fm in Terre Haute, 100.7 fm in Columbus, 101.7 fm in French Lick/West Baden, 98.9 fm in Greensburg and 106.1 fm in Kokomo.
