Methodist Sports Medicine (MSM) is seeking two candidates for a part-time Outreach Athletic Trainer to join our busy Outreach Services Department. The position will be with Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation at the Junior High Schools. The position will require approximately 20 hours per week for after school (afternoon and evenings) and occasional weekend coverage. There will also be some coverage at the High School (HSE and Fishers) as needed.
This position is responsible for providing ‘Athletic Training Services’ to student athletes under the direction of the team physician or by written referral from a physician, and in accordance with state athletic training practice act.
Individual must be NATA BOC certified and posses or be in the process of acquiring licensure, certification or registration from the state. Must be knowledgeable in human anatomy, exercise science, and possess a strong ability to communicate, multi-task, and work well in a busy environment. Excellent verbal, written and computer skills.
