In efforts to protect you the patient and our staff, we will be pre-screening every patient who presents to the office. All patients need to present to their appointments wearing a mask.

We ask for you to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment for the pre-screening. If failed, your appointment will be re-scheduled out two weeks.

Unless the patient is a minor or needs assistance, only the patient will be allowed to enter the suite.

Scott Linger

“I hope every patient that leaves my office has an understanding of their diagnosis.  My job as a surgeon is to fix anatomy, my job as a physician is to educate my patients.”

Scott Linger

Orthopedic Bone and Joint Specialist

Dr. Linger began to practice with Methodist Sports Medicine in August of 2018. His practice is full time at Bloomington Bone and Joint Clinic, where he takes care of patients with a wide variety of injuries, including young athletes with ligament tears to older populations requiring knee or shoulder replacement.

He is an orthopedic consultant for Indiana University athletes and provides game day care for the Hoosiers football team. Dr. Linger also provides orthopedic care for local high school athletes and game day care for Bedford North Lawrence.

He has a wonderful wife and 2 growing children. They enjoy bike riding, music, and golf. Dr. Linger and his family attend and volunteer at Sherwood Oaks Church, and have fallen in love with the Bloomington community!
